Kafé Kerouac is a great little coffee shop that also serves alcohol. There are wraps in the fridge, including specifically labelled vegan and vegetarian ones. They carry Patty Cake cookies as well as a small selection of good bagels. Drinks can be made with soymilk. They have a ton of books, including a large selection of sci-fi (the owner is a Doctor Who aficionado) as well as board games ranging from Go to Settles of Catan to some kind of Dr. Laura boardgame. It has a devoted core of regulars comprised mostly of popular local musical personalities.
