The steamed Buddha's Feast is vegan. Also they offer steamed brown rice as an alternative to the standard side of white rice. Other "vegetarian" dishes are not, in fact, vegetarian.
A reader comments: "I was told "none of our sauces are vegan...they all contain an ingredient derived from bone marrow". I was shocked. Later, I went back and spoke to a manager. She, at first, denied it, but agreed to check into it and email me with her findings. She emailed me, confirming that it was true...nearly all the sauces contain an ingredient derived from bone marrow. Only the steamed Buddha's Feast was vegan. She didn't tell me what the ingredient is, but I suspect it's a flavor enhancer (like E631- sodium 5'-inosinate - made from animal bones and used as a flavor enhancer in things like soups, noodles, sauces, etc.)."
