Though we're not directly affiliated with PETA, they've asked that we invite you all to the McDonald’s Protest at 'McDonald’s All American Basketball Game' at Value City Arena. They're looking for volunteers to wear chicken costumes and anyone who's up for it gets a free dinner afterward. This is a peaceful protest with all materials provided. Join Mercy For Animals for some free munchies and a screening of the award-winning documentary Earthlings. Earthlings is a powerful, informative, and thought-provoking film on the correlation between nature, animals, and human economic interests. Narrated by Joaquin Phoenix (Walk the Line, Gladiator) with music by Moby, it has received much critical acclaim. You won't want to miss it!

animal-friendly people? Get involved with Mercy For Animals! Attend
this orientation meeting to learn about Mercy For Animals' work, get a
tour of our office, and sign up for leafleting, community outreach
events, office volunteering, and marketing efforts to spread the
vegetarian message.
In addition to an orientation, you will enjoy an informal
one-on-one interview with MFA's Director of Campaigns, meet other MFA
volunteers, and start doing some volunteer projects. If you use a
