Join us for a special treat this month as we try out not just another new restaurant, but the hippest and tastiest pizza place in Columbus! If you haven't discovered it yet, there's a hoppin' lil' joint in the Polaris area called The Mellow Mushroom. Hands-down, the best tasting pizza in Columbus with toppings galore!
While the restaurant is not vegan, it’s very vegetarian and vegan friendly. For our vegetarian friends, the menu is filled with tons of delicious options!
For our vegan friends, the restaurant unfortunately does not offer a vegan or soy cheese, but the crusts are vegan and the list of veggie toppings goes on for days! The managers claim to have many vegan regulars and prepare an awesome cheeseless pizza with your choice of:
BBQ tofu, marinated tofu, and tempeh;
green peppers, roasted red peppers, jalapenos, and banana peppers;
black, green, and kalamata olives;
sun dried and roma tomatoes,
portabello and regular mushrooms,
fresh garlic, broccoli, artichoke hearts, spinach, and the list goes on!
The menu also features your choice of several sauces, salads (including the build-your-own salad option), subs, appetizers, etc. The owners are setting up space for up to 30 of us on Saturday, June 5th at 1pm.
