Please join Mercy For Animals in speaking out against KFC’s cruel treatment of chickens.
Suppliers of KFC have been found committing gross acts of animal
cruelty. At a Tyson slaughterhouse, birds died of dehydration, heat
stroke, heart attack, suffocation and some froze to death. An
eyewitness account stated that birds were routinely sent into broilers
awake and that workers were deliberately abusive by mutilating,
stomping them to death and even using a dry ice bomb to blow them up.
An investigation at one supplier found severely cramped conditions
Location
Auditorium of the Columbus Metropolitan Main Library, 96 S. Grant Ave., Columbus, Ohio
Description
Join Mercy For Animals for a free dinner and lecture by heart-disease survivor John Belluardo.
Gallery Hop is pretty lively in the summer. There's art to be seen, street vendors to buy from (or brush off), often live music on sidewalk corners, and as usual Mercy for Animals will be outside of G & Co., 721 N High St, near the intersection of High St. and Buttles Ave. distributing literature.
