We will be giving a short talk and handing out some free vegan treats tonight at Denison University (room and building TBA on this site shortly). The talk will cover:

  • Why be vegan? (Health reasons, ethical reasons, environmental reasons, abstract ideological reasons)
  • How to be vegan (Nutrition tips, being vegan while traveling, being vegan in society, sample vegan menus, vegan "secrets" like the existence of quinoa, where to find vegan foods/clothes/craft supplies/etc.)
  • Further reading/watching/doing/making (cookbooks, nutrition books, theory books, documentaries, organizations)
  • Whatever else the audience has questions/comments/rants/raves about.

If you can make it out to Denison tonight, please do. We'll make it fun.

If you live on/near the route between Polaris area and Granville and you desperately need a ride, e-mail me via the contact form before 5:00 pm today and I'll see what I can do.
