Aldi, a German chain, is short for "ALbrecht DIscount". They offer only the store brand plus occasional specialty items from national brands. They have been criticized for quality, but if you are dissatisfied they have a "Quality Double Guarnatee" meaning that they replace the product AND give you your money back. I've never had to do this yet.
Their website also has a vegan and a vegetarian meal planner complete with recipes and nutrition facts! There are about a dozen locations in Columbus as well as Newark and Heath and sundry otherplaces. Enter your zipcode in the top right corner of the meal planner page to find the one closest to you.

According to OhioBiz.com:
According to VegOhio.com: Organic items and produce, bulk grains, beans, nuts/seeds, herbs, meat
and dairy alternatives, vitamins, health/body care and cruelty-free
products, and more.
Large, indoor, hippie-friendly multivendor market. The hours for the market itself are posted on the website, but those of individual vendors may vary.
The Clintonville Community Market is a great little co-op grocery. I haven't shopped there in ages, I think it used to be called 'Calumet Co-op' maybe. If I recall correctly, non-members can shop there too but don't get as awesome a price. I vaguely remember being able to find vegan condoms there. The store is run by volunteers, so it's not just a store, it's a community. They also carry several varieties of vegan cheese.
