On Saturday, June 11th, we’ll visit Café Bella for a fabulous three course brunch! We'll get started at 11:00, so you'll want to arrive a few minutes early. Guests will be free to choose from a vegetarian or vegan menu that their chef will prepare specially for our group! Since the food is purchased dailly, the menu will be determined on the day of our event -- but likely candidates include vegan french toast, tofu scramble, etc.

Cost will be just $10 for adults and $5 for kids age 10 and under. Juice/coffee will be available for an additional dollar. Good company, fun conversation, and good times are all free!

According to their website, Café Bella is "an evolving concept, restaurant and catalyst for neighborhood and community development." No set menus. Food is purchased daily. And entrees are created to showcase the bounty's quality and freshness. And for us, it will also be a completely unique and wonderful opportunity to get together and enjoy a great meal together!

Café Bella is a great little restaurant on North High street.

They have no menu, just daily specials of Mediterranean and Italian foods that include lots of fresh veggies and herbs, some of which they grow out back.

The Rad Dog/Sticky Bun Challenge scheduled for Sunday, June 13th has been moved to Sunday, June 20th. For the uninitiated, this means the Rad Dog cart will be at Patty Cake. If you eat a sticky bun AND a Rad Dog, they take a photo of you or something. Anyway, eating Rad Dog and Patty Cake is its own reward.
