This place isn't actually an Ohio chain, it's a Pennsylvania chain with one rogue, non-Penn location, which happens to be right in the middle of Columbus.
Mad Mex has great vegetarian and vegan options. The so-called "raw wrap" is actually raw with the exception of a little roasted corn, and is 100% vegan, including the dressing. I've also heard it told that they have soy cheese available upon request. So overall, good deal. I've eaten there a couple of times and enjoyed it a lot.
However I should warn those with highly sensitive vegan souls, that the menus are leather. Not even normal leather-bound, but old-west style obvious dead cow skin. Srsly. Pretty flocking icky, if you ask me. If you'd prefer not to have to handle the toxic-chemical-treated hide of slaughtered mammals more than necessary (which, really, when you think of it that way, who does?) then you can check out the menu online and maybe even call in your order by phone before going there. And while you're at your phone, you can call their main office and ask them why such a vegan-conscious restaurant feels the need to grace its menus with big slabs of dead animal. (If you prefer to go straight to the top, you could just contact Big Burrito Restaurant Group directly)
